Tissot Unveils Upgraded Seastar 2000 Professional Dive Watch for 2026

Jun 16, 2026, 12:03 PM

Tissot has introduced an updated version of its highly capable Seastar 2000 Professional dive watch, just in time for Summer 2026. Initially released in 2021, the Tissot Seastar 2000 Professional stands as the Swiss brand's most robust underwater instrument, building upon the well-received Seastar 1000 series. Key enhancements include a helium gas escape valve and a significantly reinforced casing, effectively doubling the water resistance of its predecessors.

The latest iteration of the Tissot Seastar 2000 Professional showcases a refined 44mm stainless steel case, a reduction from the original's 46mm, paired with a domed sapphire crystal. A unidirectional rotating bezel with a 60-minute ceramic insert encircles the crystal. Its screw-down crown and a threaded display caseback ensure an impressive water resistance of 600 meters (2,000 feet). Internally, the watch is driven by the familiar Powermatic 80 automatic movement, which operates at 3Hz and boasts an extensive 80-hour power reserve.

This new collection debuts with five distinct configurations, offering wave-patterned dials in black, blue, and orange. Additionally, there are black and blue models featuring black-finished cases, complemented by matching black hands and hour markers. The standard offering typically comes with a tropic-style rubber strap that coordinates with the bezel insert's color. However, the stainless steel variant with a black dial is equipped with a three-link bracelet featuring a diver's extension clasp, presenting a more refined aesthetic for this high-performance dive watch.

This release from Tissot signifies a commitment to innovation and excellence in professional diving timepieces. By combining advanced technical features with a variety of aesthetic choices, Tissot empowers adventurers and collectors alike to explore the depths with confidence and style. The thoughtful design and robust construction reflect a dedication to precision and durability, making this watch a remarkable companion for any underwater expedition or daily wear.
