American Gem Society Announces 2026-2027 International Board of Directors

The American Gem Society (AGS) has officially unveiled its International Board of Directors for the 2026-2027 term. This newly appointed board consists of esteemed professionals from the jewelry industry, all dedicated to upholding the foundational principles of knowledge, integrity, and excellence that define the AGS. Their collective expertise and commitment are poised to steer the organization in its mission to protect consumers and advance industry standards.

Bryan Moeller, CGA, will assume the role of President, leading the executive team. His past experience within the AGS has instilled in him a profound appreciation for its impact on careers and consumer trust. He expressed his honor and enthusiasm for collaborating with a team that shares his deep-seated dedication to the organization's objectives. Mitchell Clark, CG, JEA, has been named President-Elect, with Denise Richards, CGA, taking on the responsibilities of Secretary. William Farmer, Jr., will serve as Senior Advisor, and Larry Rickert will manage the organization's finances as Treasurer.

The board also features a strong lineup of committee chairs, each responsible for key operational areas. Denise Richards, CGA, will head the Conclave Subcommittee, while Kevin Mays, CGA, JEA, leads the Education Committee. Larry Rickert will oversee the Finance, Audit & Legal Committee. David Mazer, CG, is appointed to the Gemological Sciences Committee, and Amanda Coleman-Phelps, CGA, will chair the International Guild Council. Sarah Person, CG, JEA, is the new head of the Membership Committee, Brecken Farnsworth, CG, will lead the Partner Advisory Committee, and Courtney Sivard, CSA, will chair the Young Titleholders Committee.

In addition to the executive and committee leadership, a group of distinguished individuals will serve as Directors-at-Large. This group includes Chris Anderson, Michael Fleck, Adam Graham, RS, Brad Hampton, Kendra Lindell, CGA, JEA, Melissa Quick, CSA, and Judd Rottenberg, CG. Their diverse backgrounds and insights will contribute significantly to the strategic direction and overall governance of the AGS.

The American Gem Society extends its profound appreciation to the outgoing board members who have diligently served their full terms.
