Angolan Diamond Entities Join Natural Diamond Council

The Natural Diamond Council (NDC) has welcomed two Angolan state-owned diamond enterprises, ENDIAMA E.P. and SODIAM E.P., into its membership, marking a significant expansion for the organization.

This integration is a direct outcome of the Luanda Accord, a pivotal agreement established in June 2025 among leading diamond-producing nations and industry figures, including Angola, Botswana, and De Beers, to bolster the natural diamond sector. The Accord emphasizes a collective dedication to promoting the industry's enduring health and integrity through strategic marketing and educational efforts spearheaded by the NDC. The membership of ENDIAMA E.P., Angola's national diamond mining entity responsible for sustainable resource management, and SODIAM E.P., the national diamond trading company overseeing global exports, reinforces Angola's commitment to these shared objectives.
