Renowned for their vintage-inspired timepieces offered at appealing price points, Baltic designs its watches in Paris, with reliable, externally sourced movements assembled in Besançon, France. The highly successful Aquascaphe Classic, a robust dive watch reminiscent of 1950s skin divers, was further refined into the sophisticated Aquascaphe MK2 in 2025. Initially offered without a date display, Baltic is now expanding its range to include models with a subtle, color-coordinated date aperture positioned at 6 o'clock.

The upgraded Aquascaphe MK2 series continues to impress with its enhanced features and diverse configurations. The latest iteration, incorporating a date display, underscores Baltic's commitment to meeting consumer demands without compromising its core design philosophy. The acclaimed 39mm Aquascaphe Classic, after a successful seven-year run, was succeeded by the MK2 last year, bringing a complete redesign. The Aquascaphe MK2 cases are now available in two sizes, a compact 37mm and a more substantial 39.5mm, accommodating various wrist dimensions. These cases boast sharper aesthetics with flat-top crown guards and a screw-down crown, featuring elegantly brushed vertical surfaces. Enhanced legibility was a key focus of the 2025 revamp, with 0.4mm-thick Lumicast indices crafted from solid Super-LumiNova BGW9 applied to the dial. The countdown 60-minute scale on the bezel and the watch hands are also treated with SLN BGW9 for superior low-light visibility. With choices between two case sizes, four dial colors, and now the option of a date display, the MK2 appeals to a wide array of preferences.
