Bell & Ross Unveils New BR-03 GMT Green Lum Watch

Bell & Ross, renowned for its aviation-inspired timepieces, has unveiled its latest creation, the BR-03 GMT Green Lum. This limited-edition watch builds upon the established BR-03 GMT series, integrating a captivating green gradient dial inspired by the ethereal glow of the Northern Lights. The brand's signature use of advanced luminescent materials, particularly Super-LumiNova, takes center stage in this new offering, enhancing both functionality and visual appeal. This release continues Bell & Ross's tradition of combining robust design with innovative luminous applications, evident across its "Lum" collection.

The BR-03 GMT Green Lum retains the familiar 42mm x 42mm square case design, a hallmark of the BR-03 line, featuring rounded edges and prominent screws at each corner that evoke a cockpit instrument. Measuring a comfortable 11.3mm in height, the case ensures water resistance up to 100 meters and is topped with a durable sapphire crystal. A key enhancement in this iteration is the bidirectional 24-hour rotating bezel, now crafted with a black polished ceramic insert. All markers on the bezel, consistent with the Lum series, are treated with green-emitting Super-LumiNova C3. The watch also boasts a more refined finish, with a combination of brushed surfaces and polished bevels, reflecting a sophisticated evolution in the BR-03 series' aesthetic.

The centerpiece of this limited edition is its unique dial, showcasing a vertical green-to-black gradient effect that beautifully captures the essence of an aurora-lit night sky. The verdant theme extends to the numerals, hour markers, and hands, all generously coated with pale green, luminous Super-LumiNova C3. This particular version adopts a more utilitarian, military-inspired appearance, featuring blackened hour and minute hands—a departure from the polished steel found in standard BR-03 GMT models. Further adding to its distinct character are a seconds hand tipped with an airplane motif and an openworked, triangular GMT hand, all powered by the reliable Calibre BR-CAL.303, an automatic Sellita SW330-2 based movement with an extended 54-hour power reserve.

The Bell & Ross BR-03 GMT Green Lum is presented on a black rubber strap, with an additional resilient black synthetic fabric strap included in the packaging. This timepiece, limited to only 500 units, is available for EUR 4,900.
