Chronoswiss has expanded its distinctive Neo Digiteur collection with the new "Pastel Code" series, a set of three limited-edition watches. These models, available in Mint, Sky, and Rose, each limited to 99 units, refresh the original rectangular, tonneau-shaped case design with a soft, inviting color palette. The core innovation remains: a purely mechanical movement that displays time digitally, eschewing traditional hands.

The Enduring Legacy of Chronoswiss's Digital Vision

The Neo Digiteur draws its inspiration from a rich history within Chronoswiss. The journey began in 2005 when founder Gerd-Rüdiger Lang pioneered the first Digiteur, reimagining 1920s and 1930s wristwatches for a modern era. This original design replaced conventional hands with distinct apertures for hours, minutes, and seconds. Chronoswiss revitalized this unique concept with the Neo Digiteur in 2025, and the new Pastel Code editions continue this tradition, infusing vibrant hues into its unconventional display.

Precision Digital Display: Jumping Hours and Regulator-Inspired Design

Each watch in the Pastel Code collection features a brass dial, sandblasted and lacquered, with three semi-circular windows for time indication. The hours are displayed at 12 o'clock, minutes centrally, and seconds at 6 o'clock, reminiscent of a regulator dial without the traditional hand mechanism. The Mint version is identified as reference CH-1373.2-LG, the Sky as CH-1373.2-LB, and the Rose as CH-1373.2-LR.

At the Heart of the Watch: A Bespoke Mechanical Engine

Driving the Neo Digiteur is the Chronoswiss C.85757 caliber, a hand-wound movement integrated with a specialized module for its jumping-hour display. The movement's designation pays homage to Chronoswiss's initial postal code from its founding year, 1983, when the brand operated near Munich. Operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz), this caliber boasts a 48-hour power reserve. Unlike previous 2025 Neo Digiteur models, the bridges of these new editions are adorned with Côtes de Genève instead of guilloché, a detail visible through the sapphire-crystal case back.

Elegant Tonneau Casing in Stainless Steel

The watches are housed in a stainless-steel tonneau case, measuring 48 x 30mm with a thickness of 9.7mm. The case design features a sophisticated interplay of sandblasted, brushed, and polished finishes, while retaining the signature Chronoswiss onion crown. Water resistance is rated at 5 bar. Each model is presented with either a gray or black textile strap and is priced at $13,900.
