This year has seen several prominent watchmakers revive the jump hour complication, and Chronoswiss joins this trend with the introduction of the Neo Digiteur, a modern evolution of its original Digiteur model from 2005. Conceived by founder Gerd-Rüdiger Lang, the Digiteur was notable for its handless display, utilizing mechanical digital indications, a concept that dates back to early 20th-century "montres sans aiguilles." These historical watches presented time through intricate jumping numerals and rotating discs, foreshadowing digital timekeeping long before electronic advancements.
