First introduced in 2025, the Pulse collection marked a significant stylistic evolution for Chronoswiss. While retaining iconic elements such as the prominent onion crown, the distinctive coin-edge bezel, and the intricate multi-layered dial structure, this collection pioneered a contemporary case design paired with an integrated-style bracelet. Building on this foundation, earlier models like the Enamel Sky Gold and Silver Guilloche Pulse GMTs were unveiled. Now, the brand presents a new iteration: the Pulse GMT Frosted Guilloche Gold, an exclusive series housed in a precious metal casing and featuring a sport-inspired rubber strap.

Masterful Case Construction and Exquisite Materials

The new Pulse GMT Frosted Guilloché Gold maintains the signature 26-part case construction of the Pulse series. Measuring 41mm in diameter, 13mm in thickness, and 46.27mm from lug-to-lug, the case is meticulously crafted from 18k 5N red gold. It showcases a harmonious blend of satin-brushed, sandblasted, and polished finishes. Notable design elements include a partially knurled bezel and a recessed onion crown flanked by subtle guards. A double-coated anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial, while a screw-down case back with a sapphire window allows a view of the intricate movement. The watch offers a water resistance of 50 meters.

The multi-level dial of this timepiece is a testament to sophisticated artistry. It features a hand-guilloché decorated center and domed displays, enhanced by various finishes including frosted sandblasting, nickel galvanic coatings, and polishing. Applied indices, polished and treated with blue PVD, along with blued steel Pyramid hands and blue markings, provide a striking contrast against the frosted silver-toned dial surfaces, ensuring optimal readability. The GMT display in this new model remains consistent with previous Pulse GMT editions. Local time is elegantly indicated on a 12-hour subdial positioned at 3 o'clock, while a 24-hour disc at 9 o'clock displays home time. Central minutes and seconds hands seamlessly integrate these two displays, resulting in a clean and highly intuitive time-telling experience for the wearer.

Precision Engineering: The Calibre C.6002 Movement

At the heart of the timepiece is the Chronoswiss calibre C.6002, an automatic movement developed in collaboration with La Joux-Perret. This mechanism operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a robust 55-hour power reserve. Visible through the sapphire caseback, the movement reveals a skeletonised tungsten rotor, ruthenium-plated bridges adorned with Geneva stripes, and expertly polished components, all contributing to its aesthetic and mechanical excellence.

In a departure from earlier Pulse GMT models that featured integrated bracelets, this new edition is fitted with a specially developed black rubber strap. This choice lends a modern and casual character to the watch, enhancing its versatility.
