Charting a Course for the Coming Year
As DCWC anticipates 2026, the organization is poised for continued growth and impact. A significant development in the preceding fall was the formal integration of the Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California into the Diamond Club West Coast. This strategic merger honors the rich heritage of the 24K Club while simultaneously broadening access to DCWC's extensive services, resources, and global network, promising enhanced opportunities for all members.

Kimberly Overlin, former President of the 24 Karat Club of Southern California, described the integration as a purposeful expansion. She articulated that by incorporating the 24K Club into DCWC, the collective voice of the industry is amplified, fostering greater opportunities for partnership, education, and business advancement for all members.

Established in 1946 and officially recognized as a WFDB affiliate in 1980, DCWC, headquartered in downtown Los Angeles' Jewelry District, is recognized as the fastest-growing club within the WFDB. With a membership exceeding 300, it proudly represents a diverse group of diamond and gemstone dealers, jewelry manufacturers, second-hand jewelers, and wholesalers. As a 501(c)(6) nonprofit, DCWC remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting members through essential services, comprehensive education, rigorous ethical standards, and impactful networking. The upcoming 2026 calendar is set to feature a robust program of educational luncheons, networking events, trading gatherings, and expanded member initiatives, all designed to further empower and connect the vibrant jewelry community.
