Operational Excellence: Anchoring Governance and Compliance
In this capacity, the Executive Director will serve as the organizational bedrock, upholding strict governance, ensuring committee alignment, and maintaining strategic continuity. Key responsibilities include managing internal communications, offering support to board and committee leaders, coordinating nonprofit compliance and financial reporting with the Treasurer, and enhancing administrative frameworks to foster long-term resilience.
Fostering Growth: Membership Development and Community Building
Cultivating a thriving membership remains fundamental to CEJ's impact. The Executive Director will partner with the Membership Committee to intensify recruitment efforts, deepen member involvement, facilitate renewals and onboarding processes, and nurture a cohesive community that embodies the organization's standards and principles.
Industry Representation: Amplifying CEJ's Voice
Externally, the Executive Director will act as a senior advocate for CEJ within the broader jewelry industry. This involves handling inquiries, contributing to newsletters and press releases, forging strategic partnerships, and reinforcing CEJ's stance on responsible business conduct. Participation in select trade events may also be included, subject to funding availability.
