In a significant move for 2024, the renowned German watchmaker Hanhart has unveiled an exciting addition to its dive watch lineage: the Aquasphere Matte Black. This latest iteration builds upon the successful foundation of the Aquasphere series, which first distinguished itself by merging formidable technical capabilities with Hanhart's unique design ethos. While maintaining the core attributes that define the collection, the Matte Black variant introduces a more subdued and functional aesthetic, stepping away from the vivid blue of its predecessor to embrace a classic black and white color scheme, subtly punctuated by the brand's iconic red details. This new model is poised to appeal to enthusiasts seeking a robust dive watch with a refined, purpose-driven appearance.

The timepiece’s sturdy 42mm stainless steel case remains consistent with previous Aquasphere models, boasting precise dimensions of 12.95mm in thickness and a 49mm lug-to-lug measurement. The case design artfully combines satin-brushed, polished, and matte finishes, adding depth and visual intrigue to its otherwise straightforward construction. A unidirectional black ceramic bezel, featuring 60 precise clicks and Hanhart's distinctive stencil numerals, includes a prominent red marker at the 12 o'clock position for enhanced legibility. Each movement is meticulously regulated by Hanhart at their Gütenbach facility to an exacting in-house standard of between 0 and +8 seconds per day, averaged across six distinct positions, ensuring exceptional timekeeping precision.

Customization is a notable feature, with the Aquasphere Matte Black offering three distinct wearing options. Patrons can select the lightweight and flexible elastic Hook Strap, a durable FKM rubber strap secured with a folding clasp, or a sophisticated stainless steel bracelet.
