Introducing the New Mido Commander Datoday Watch Collection

Mido expands its renowned Commander series with the introduction of the Datoday collection, presenting four new models that encapsulate a fusion of classic elegance and everyday utility. These timepieces are designed as reliable companions for various occasions, maintaining the Commander line's longstanding reputation for accessible yet sophisticated horology. The Commander collection, a cornerstone of Mido's offerings since 1959, continues to evolve while staying true to its core principles. Mido, a brand within the Swatch Group, has consistently delivered watches known for their dependability and value. This latest quartet, the Mido Commander Datoday, follows more avant-garde designs seen in previous Commander Gradient models, re-emphasizing a timeless and traditional approach to watchmaking. The brand's history, dating back to 1918, showcases a commitment to coherent design and reliable performance, further cemented by recent innovative releases such as the TV Big Date and Ocean Star Worldtimer.

The new Commander Datoday models are meticulously designed with a 40mm stainless steel case, featuring a slim profile of 10.7mm and an ultra-thin bezel, complemented by short lugs for a sleek appearance. The case design artfully combines brushed and polished surfaces, enhancing its refined character. While the water resistance is rated at 50 meters, making it suitable for daily wear, the focus remains on its elegant and versatile design. A distinctive feature of the Datoday collection is its sunray-brushed dial, which is framed by an angled inner flange.
