Scheduled for a presale launch today at US$1,850, the Cassiel II promises delivery to early bird customers starting August 10th. The Makina Cassiel II boasts a 42mm case with a 40mm bezel and a 48mm lug-to-lug dimension, crafted from 316L stainless steel. Its design masterfully uses angular flanks and a tapered case back to reduce visual bulk, while sandblasted and polished surfaces create a sculptural appearance. A notable feature is the integrated rubber strap, designed with deliberately asymmetrical patterns that seamlessly extend the case's aesthetic. Powering the watch is a Valjoux/ETA 7750 automatic chronograph movement, known for its reliability and traditional layout, complemented by Makina’s custom black rotor visible through the exhibition case back.
