Smyth Jewelers, an esteemed century-old enterprise, has officially secured a sublease for a significant 12,500-square-foot property at 1201 E. Churchville Road in Bel Air, MD. This strategic move, facilitated by commercial real estate firm TD&A, paves the way for the opening of a brand-new showroom in the coming autumn, marking a notable expansion for the company.

The property, previously occupied by Walgreens, is set to undergo extensive renovations, transforming it into a state-of-the-art jewelry retail space. This investment, approximately $650,000, is expected to generate between 12 and 15 employment opportunities for the local community. The precise grand opening date is contingent on the delivery and installation of custom display cases, essential for showcasing the jeweler's exquisite collections. This new establishment will be Smyth Jewelers' fourth location in Maryland, complementing its existing stores in Timonium, Annapolis, and Ellicott City, and further solidifying its presence in the region.
