Urwerk has officially launched the UR-230 'Black Star,' marking the conclusion of its distinguished UR-230 watch series. This latest model, limited to only 35 pieces globally, integrates design and material characteristics from both the 'Eagle' and 'Polaris' editions. The 'Black Star' aims to unify the collection, presenting a cohesive culmination of the series' innovative spirit. Its creation reflects a deliberate effort to synthesize the collection's various themes into a singular, defining timepiece, ensuring its place as a significant release for the brand.

First introduced in 2023 with the 'UR-230 Eagle,' the series began with a carbon fiber case and a distinctive hinged lid. The subsequent 2024 release, the 'UR-230 Polaris,' diverged by featuring a white ceramic-based composite material and omitting the hinged cover, giving it a markedly different feel. The 'Black Star' serves as a bridge, adopting the lid-free design of the 'Polaris' while returning to a color scheme reminiscent of the original 'Eagle,' effectively merging the aesthetic and functional evolutions of its predecessors.
