The family subsequently consolidated these operations into flagship stores in Alexandria and Baton Rouge. Following Kenneth's passing in 2008, Kevin and his brother Kent assumed the leadership of the company. Beyond his professional endeavors, Patton is deeply involved in civic activities, serving with organizations such as the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge, the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, and the Men's Club of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
