The Kubo series, Kiwame Tokyo's fourth distinct collection, derives its name from the Japanese term for "hollow" or "recessed space." This nomenclature aptly describes the collection's core design principle: to highlight the subtle variations in depth that create captivating shadow play. Following the vintage-inspired aesthetics of its predecessors — the Kurotsuki, Usuki, and Mune families — the Kubo series maintains the classic elegance of a dress watch. It stands as the brand's most compact model to date, featuring a refined 37mm diameter, a slim 9.3mm height (10.7mm including the domed sapphire crystal), and a comfortable 45mm lug-to-lug measurement.
