Seiko and Rowing Blazers Unveil Fourth Collaboration: The Reimagined Rally Diver

Jul 07, 2026, 9:01 PM

Seiko, in collaboration with the New York-based apparel company Rowing Blazers and Eric Wind of Wind Vintage, has announced their fourth joint watch collection. This new release builds upon the success of their prior partnerships, presenting a fresh take on a familiar design.

The centerpiece of this new collection is a reinterpretation of the Rally Diver, a model first introduced in their 2021 collaboration. Drawing inspiration from a vintage Seiko Rally Diver from the late 1960s, a timepiece Eric Wind cherishes as his first vintage watch acquisition, the new models maintain the distinctive aesthetic that made their predecessors popular. The blue Rally Diver, designated ref. SRPM19, retains the original 42.5mm case dimension, while the green-dial version, ref. SRPM21, offers a more understated 38mm case. Both watches feature a striking checkered aluminum insert on the unidirectional rotating bezel, harmonizing with their respective blue or forest green double-signed dials. The hour and minute hands are brushed, complemented by a seconds hand accented with red and white stripes. Each watch comes with a robust steel bracelet, complete with Seiko's signature stamped clasp. Additionally, the green Rally Diver includes an extra blue nylon strap, while the blue variant is paired with an additional green nylon strap. These limited-edition timepieces, with 2,500 units available for each color, are powered by the reliable Seiko 4R36 automatic caliber, offering a 41-hour power reserve and a frequency of 21,600 VpH. The movement is visible through an exhibition caseback adorned with Rowing Blazers' unique Bath Club motif, featuring a dripping faucet alongside the Seiko and Wind Vintage logos.

The latest Rowing Blazers x Seiko 5 Sports collection is set to launch on Thursday, July 9th, 2026, at 11 AM ET. These timepieces will be available for purchase through both the Rowing Blazers and Seiko official websites, as well as in limited quantities at Rowing Blazers' New York City store. Each watch is priced at $495. This partnership, born from the shared history of Eric Wind and Rowing Blazers founder Jack Carlson as Georgetown classmates, has consistently resonated with enthusiasts. The intentional decision to re-release the Rally Diver in larger quantities reflects a desire to make this beloved design accessible to a broader audience, ensuring that more collectors can enjoy its distinctive charm. This approach also allows the original, more limited 2021 Rally Diver to retain its special appeal. While dedicated watch collectors might express a preference for a smaller case size for the blue variant, the compact lug-to-lug measurement of the Seiko 5 Sports case ensures comfortable wear across various wrist sizes. The continued success of these collaborations underscores their appeal to both fashion-conscious individuals and the wider online community.

This collaboration not only showcases the enduring appeal of the Rally Diver but also highlights the success that can be achieved when brands with distinct identities converge to create products that are both stylish and functional. It emphasizes the importance of design heritage while embracing contemporary preferences, fostering a vibrant community around shared passions. This synergistic approach brings renewed energy and accessibility to classic designs, enriching the collecting experience for all.
