Moving beyond its renowned chronographs, this collection introduces a significantly re-engineered GMT timepiece that embodies a fresh aesthetic direction for the brand. The new stainless steel 1970 DualTrack model features a sleeker profile and more angular case lines compared to its predecessors, coupled with a fully integrated bracelet. This evolution is driven by a refined version of their proprietary Calibre 4 movement, now optimized for a slimmer form factor while retaining its impressive performance.

Drawing inspiration from iconic car designs of that era, such as those by Bertone and Marcello Gandini, the 1970 collection showcases a more compact and streamlined profile. With a 40mm diameter and a remarkably slim 12.6mm case thickness, it's the thinnest model in Singer's current lineup, offering a distinctly modern yet retro appeal.

Adjusting the second time zone is equally straightforward, managed by a discreet corrector button located at 9 o'clock on the case, allowing for one-hour increments with ease.

Underpinning this sophisticated display is the new Calibre 4 Slim Dual Time movement, developed in collaboration with master watchmakers at Agenhor. This proprietary manual-winding movement features an impressive four barrels, providing a substantial 6-day power reserve. To achieve the 1970 DualTrack's slender 12.6mm case profile, the movement was completely re-engineered and slimmed down to just 6.6mm. The DT Slim variant meticulously compresses the twin sets of double barrels, which rotate rapidly in series and parallel, to maintain an ultra-stable torque curve without adding vertical bulk. The collection offers three dial colors—Khaki Green, Cobalt Blue, and Dark Espresso Brown—each accented with golden, faceted hour markers treated with cream-colored Super-LumiNova, and rhodium-plated hands with orange Super-LumiNova inserts, evoking a nostalgic 1970s color palette.
